Guidance and advice

Library can advise customers in the use of the library database if needed. 

There is no Internet training available, but customers will receive some basic guidance in the use of computers if they need it. 

Groups wanting to get acquainted a library and its services should reserve a time in advance.

For nursery school and school children information retrieval from library catalogues, reference collections and databases.

Ask A Librarian is the online reference enquiry service of Finnish public and research libraries. The answer is sent to your e-mail and it is also saved in our archive. The questions will be answered in three workdays.

At the iGS - information Gas Station your questions are answered by reference service professionals of the Helsinki City Library. The answer is sent to your e-mail and it is also saved in an archive. The questions will be answered in two weeks.
