The purpose of user training is to provide the student with relevant library and information skills that facilitate independent use of the library's various information sources.

Training in library and information skills is a component of general studies undertaken during the beginning of the autumn term. The students are guided through the library's collections, borrowing rules, and searching from the Arsca library catalogue.

International students

New international students are also offered introductory tours and training at the beginning of the autumn term.

Students working on diploma works
 
Training in information retrieval is available for students working on their final theses and diploma works. The training aims to assist in finding the most useful information sources with regards to the research subject.
