Books are located amongst the open collection of the University of Art and Design Library. Course books are placed separately to form a collection of their own.

Subject headings

Subject headings describe the book's subject field and content. Subject headings in Finnish are given to all library material. Only some of the material has been given subject headings also in English. VESA-Thesaurus on the Web can be used as a tool in selecting subject headings.

All material are classified on the basis of the Aalto University Arabia Campus Library's classification scheme.
