Arsca is a joint collection database of several art libraries:

- University of Art and Design Library
- Theatre Academy Library
- Sibelius Academy Library
- Academy of Fine Arts Library
- Library of Cultural Politics
- Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. Resource Library for Arts and Culture
- Helsinki Conservatory Library
- Pop & Jazz Conservatory Library

All library material acquired after 1980 is catalogued to the ARSCA database including:
books, periodicals, diploma works, slides, videos and multimedia.
Some material published before 1980 can be searched from the card catalogue only.

Keywords from the Finnish General Thesaurus are used in the indexing of the database. For further information see Yleinen suomalainen asiasanasto - YSA (in Finnish only). University of Art and Design Library also uses the Theasaurus of Industrial Arts.
