Our primary aim is to support the teaching of rhythm music at the Pop & Jazz Conservatory and the Metropolia Polytechnic, and to promote research on jazz and popular music in general.

The Library services are carried out as a joint venture between Metropolia and the Pop & Jazz Conservatory.

Our collection contains literature, sheet music, records and theses on pop and jazz music.

For customers outside our organization we offer small scale information services, access to our network and a chance to loan books and to listen to music in our collection.

The Library was founded in 1992 as a part of the Oulunkylä Pop/Jazz Conservatory.
