Finnish Comics Society deposited its collection to the University of Art and Design Helsinki in summer 2003.

The collection consists of approx. 3.500 books and magazines of

• both Finnish and foreign comics
• a notable part of independent Finnish comics
• reference works, thesis and other litterature dealing with comics and cartoons.

The foreign albums are mainly French but for example the Belgian, Swedish, Spanish, Italian, English and Polish comics are also well represented.

The collection is now partly catalogued in the ARSCA with call number SarSe and the recording will continue.
