Interlibrary lending consists of borrowing and copying between libraries and providers of information services; the Aalto University Library has excellent contacts to libraries and other suppliers of information services all over the world, and is able to order material from both Finnish and international libraries.

Loan requests can be submitted by mail, fax, e-mail or at the library as well.

To order material to the library, full bibliographic details of the publication should be supplied. An indication of the reference source (e.g. publication, database) is also helpful.
