WebVPN

This service can be used for accessing remotely the electronic journals, dictionaries and databases offered by the aalto University Arabia Campus Library from outside of the University’s network. The service is available to the University’s students, researchers and staff for educational and research purposes in accordance with the license agreements signed by the library. Use of the service for other purposes, such as commercial purposes or business activities, is prohibited.

University's WebVPN can be accessed from the following address:
https://vpn02.uiah.fi

1. university's username and password are required for logging in to the service.
2. After logging in the homepage of the university's WebVPN appears.
3. In the “Enter Web Addres (URL)” write the address of the library’s website, for instance en/taik/databases.html 

Always remember to log out when terminating the remote connection

Logging out is especially important when using the connection on a public shared computer, like in libraries. Logging off is important because of data security. The next computer user may be able to see your files if you have not logged off.
-    Remove all “Cookies” from the browser.
-    Remove all files you saved to the computer during the WebVPN session. These files are not removed automatically when the connection is terminated.
